Moxhull Hall was the lovely setting for the First Ascot Ladies Day Experience hosted by Variety, the Children’s Charity and The Norman Laud Association. The two charities who raise funds for sick, disabled and disadvantaged children in the Midlands joined forces for their similar causes to organise a wonderful occasion.

87 guests attended the event in all their finery to be greeted with prosecco and canapes upon arrival in the beautiful courtyard. After lunch the guests had a flutter on the races screened live from Royal Ascot and the atmosphere was magnificent with lots of winners in the room.

Charlotte Allen, Regional Fundraising Manager from Variety said:

“We are so grateful to all those who attended and helped raise almost £4,000 for the mutual benefit of both charities. Everybody had a wonderful time and due to popular demand on the day we have already put the date in the diary to join forces once again on what will now become an annual event. The date for next year is Thursday 22nd June 2017.”
