What does Variety do?

We provide:

  • Adapted, accessible transport for SEND schools and other non-profit organisations with our famous Sunshine Coaches
  • Memorable day trips and outings through our Great Days Out programme.

Our work helps give children and young people greater wellbeing, independence, social inclusion, mobility and self-esteem, and allows them to live their best lives – no matter who they are.

On average, a family with a disabled child has to pay an extra £975 per month to have the same standard of living as one without. We aim to address the relationship between disability and poverty.

What is our purpose?

Our vision

Enabling every child to live their best life and reach their full potential, whoever they are.

Our mission

We fund and deliver life-changing programmes that give children and young people across the UK a better future.

Our values

Putting our beneficiaries first, innovation, creativity, inclusivity, courtesy, patience, respect, transparency, and valuing our heritage.

The International world of Variety

We are part of Variety International, a global charity with a network of 40 chapters in 11 countries. Under three core initiatives – Freedom, Future and Caring – Variety International funds and delivers life-changing programmes that give children around the world a better future.
