At Variety, the Children’s Charity, we believe that every child has a right to live their best life and reach their full potential, whoever they are. We fund and deliver life-changing programmes that enhance the quality of life and give children and young people across the UK a better future.

We are currently undergoing a major review of our charitable programmes, operations, and fundraising to ensure they are relevant, fit for purpose, needs driven, and maximise impact to individual families, schools and children’s organisations, and the wider community. As the charity prepares for a period of ambitious growth, we are introducing a series of new roles, as well as building on existing ones, to ensure we have the right skills in place to deliver our plans to help more children and young people.

Our Teams

Our programmes team delivers life-changing programmes to disabled and disadvantaged children throughout the UK. By managing grants for wheelchairs and specialist equipment, Variety Great Days Out, and Variety Sunshine Coaches, as well as the new Access Interns programme, our programmes team helps children to live their best lives and reach their full potential.

The Variety fundraising team is responsible for raising vital funds to support our programmes. Through individual giving and legacy giving, challenge events, community fundraising, special events, corporate supporters, and trusts and foundations, our fundraising team works with our incredible supporters to help disabled and disadvantaged children throughout the country.

Our Marcomms team is responsible for the charity’s marketing and communication, including press releases, website content, monthly newsletters, and email communications.
