Variety, the Children’s Charity and The Norman Laud Association have fundraised over £7,000 for sick, disabled and disadvantaged children at a wonderful Ascot Ladies Day Experience. Held at Moxhull Hall Hotel, the lovely setting saw the two charities join forces to host a wonderful occasion that raised money for children in the Midlands.

150 guests attended the event in all their finery to be greeted with prosecco and canapes upon arrival in the beautiful courtyard. After lunch the guests had a flutter on the races screened live from Royal Ascot and the atmosphere was magnificent with lots of winners in the room.

Charlotte Walker, Fundraising Manager at Variety, the Children’s Charity said:

“This was our biggest ladies day event to date having sold out in just a couple of weeks. All of the ladies looked absolutely fabulous and we are so incredibly grateful for their generous support. We thoroughly enjoy working with The Norman Laud Association team knowing together we are making a difference to so many young lives in the Midlands. We are already looking forward to Ladies Day next year and can confirm the event will take place on the 20th June 2019.”
