Opened by event co-chair Emma Sinclair MBE, the 7th Variety PROPS breakfast took place on Tuesday, 7th November at The Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane, London and raised a staggering £40,000 in the space of an hour and a half.

The event was attended by over 250 people from across the property sector and press. When PROPS co-founder Neil Sinclair and event co-chair Candice Sammeroff took the stage to make an emotional appeal for support, the audience heard how the PROPS has helped change the lives of thousands of children who through no fault of their own find life particularly challenging.

The guests were treated to a speech by The Rt. Hon John Redwood, MP who gave his insights on “The UK Property Market – Reality and Perceptions”, followed by a lively audience Q&A and closing comments from Michael Dean, event co-chair who shared his personal experience of how a wheelchair can change someone’s life.

The PROPS events have been running for 26 years with all proceeds given to Variety to support disabled and disadvantaged children. Since 1992, it has raised over £10 million. This has enabled them to provide more than 2,000 custom built wheelchairs and other essential items to children and young people all over the UK, delivering them with the critical passport to independence they desperately need and deserve.
