St. Peter’s C of E Primary School, based in Leeds, have received a Variety Sunshine Coach, thanks to the generous sponsorship of the vehicle by Mr Garry Wilson and Endless LLP. The Coach will allow the children to experience day trips, residential visits and sporting events and will be used both during the term time and during the holidays to support extended services.

Attendees of the presentation were treated to a performance of a medley of songs from ‘Westside Story’ before being shown around the fantastic school and meeting its pupils.

Liz Holliday, Head Teacher at St Peter’s, which teaches pupils from some of the most deprived areas in Leeds said:

“We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded a Sunshine Coach from Variety. It will enable pupils to take part in after school activities such as sports matches, swimming lessons, singing in church, theatre trips and will also be used to take pupils home when parents are not able to come and pick them up.

Having the coach makes a huge difference to the opportunities we can provide for the children and we would like to thank our coach sponsors Garry Wilson, Endless LLP and Variety for its support and help which is really appreciated.”
