Great Day Out at Tower of London
Great Days Out
40 children drawn from 5 schools and community groups across London descended on the Tower of London at the end of June for a summer party with a difference.
This year’s garden party saw the Towers’ orchard taken over by Variety to offer the children, the experience of close up magic, group games, facepainting and the chance to meet some of the Beefeaters who live there. After a street party style lunch, Simply Smiley took over with a special themed show designed specially to get everyone, regardless of age or ability, involved. The event was funded by Crest Nicholson who sent along some of their staff to help out on the day, ensuring that even the great British weather didn’t dampen any spirits.
The schools that attended were:
- Castle Hill Academy School
- Elm Court School
- Lifelong Family Links
- The Octagon
- West Dulwich Gingerbread Group
