We are inviting people of all ages, fitness levels, and abilities to join our team of supporters, beneficiaries, and disability advocates at Parallel Windsor – a fully accessible celebration of diversity and inclusivity at Windsor Great Park with a choice of challenges ranging from 100m to 10k, including a 1k sensory course.

Last year, Team Variety was joined by a group of young people – Ada, James, and Yassine – all of whom have disabilities and have received specialist equipment from Variety, the Children’s Charity.

We are delighted to once again be joined by the young challenge participants, along with other children who have benefited from our programmes. We are extending an invitation to the general public to join the inspirational youngsters at Parallel Windsor 2024 to celebrate their 75th year in Great Britain.

With a team of 75 incredible participants, alongside Variety staff and the popular Variety mascot, we will be celebrating 75 years of disability advocacy at the truly spectacular Festival of Inclusivity. The family-friendly festival is fully accessible to people with any disability and offers music, food, interactive games, arts and crafts, and more to keep the whole family entertained.

Parallel Windsor 2023 was opened by Paralympian swimmer Ellie Simmonds OBE, who said it was “an honour” to be part of the event.

Variety, the Children’s Charity of Great Britain is part of the wider international organisation. Brought over to the UK in 1949 by HRH Prince Philip and showbusiness personalities including Frank Sinatra, we have helped millions of disabled and disadvantaged children and young people throughout Great Britain.
