The coach, which has been sponsored by Brooks MacDonald Group Foundation, will be used to transport the children and young people who are on the autistic spectrum continuum on their trips and outings into the community.

The 14 seater minibus will enable the children of Bradstow School to embark upon a number of educational and recreational pursuits which will expand their learning experience and enable them to interact with the wider community.

This Variety Sunshine Coach has been generously funded by Brooks Macdonald Group plc a wealth management group providing private client investment services for over 20 years.

Chris Macdonald, CEO of Brooks Macdonald, commented:

“We are extremely pleased and proud to be presenting this sunshine coach to Bradstow School and know it will provide many years of enjoyment for the pupils and wider school community. Brooks Macdonald Group’s colleagues have undertaken a number of fundraising activities to raise funds for Variety and it is very rewarding to see first hand the impact that our fundraising efforts have on the children who benefit from Variety’s support”.

Sarah Dunn, Head Teacher of Bradstow School, said:

“We are truly thankful for the donation of the Sunshine Coach from Variety and Brooks Macdonad Group. Having this coach to take our children on trips and outings will open up a new avenue of experiences for our pupils with the opportunity to access activities which were previously inaccessible.”
