Fundraising Team Administrator (part-time)

  • Based in London
  • Part time 25 hours per week

Variety, the Children's Charity, is looking for a Fundraising Team Administrator to provide full administrative support for the Fundraising Team. This pivotal role will support the busy team to help them achieve their targets. Each aspect of the team’s work provides different and interesting challenges. You will also be working with Variety’s London and regional teams.

This interesting role is an opportunity to utilise your existing administrative skills and develop new skills in a renowned, successful and growing charity with nearly 70 year’s heritage of helping sick, disabled and disadvantage children and young adults across the country.

The post holder will be expected to contribute to the overall aims of Variety by assisting in the co-ordination and administration of any activities related to the Charity. The post holder will have the opportunity to work as a volunteer on many of Variety’s major events and will be expected to work together with the Variety staff and volunteers in the generation of ideas and initiatives that will contribute to the growth and development of the Charity.

Volunteer Gold Hearts Coordinator, West Midlands

Variety, the Children’s Charity is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to help the Midlands Regional Fundraising Team. 

Variety is dedicated to supporting children and young people across the UK who are sick, disabled or disadvantaged by providing Sunshine coaches and wheelchairs to taking children on amazing days out through its Variety Great Days Out programme. As a Volunteer Gold Hearts Coordinator you will support the Fundraising Manager within the Midlands region to raise awareness and funds for the charity by placing and managing boxes of Gold Heart Badges within businesses in your local community.

As a Variety volunteer, you will be given the opportunity to work on a number of rewarding projects, meet some new people and of course, gain some fantastic work experience.

Training and previous experience is not a requirement, but good communication, organisation skills and a regular commitment is. There are no set hours or days but whatever time you are able to give will make a huge difference to the charity and the children and young people whom we support. The Charity is also able to offer reasonable travel expenses.

Volunteer Researcher, Midlands

Variety, the Children’s Charity is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to help the West Midlands Regional Fundraising Team. 

Variety is dedicated to supporting children and young people across the UK who are sick, disabled or disadvantaged by providing Sunshine coaches and wheelchairs to taking children on amazing days out through its Variety Great Days Out programme.

Supporting the Regional Fundraising Manager, tasks will include researching various groups and organisations as well as keeping an up to date record of their contact details. 

As a Variety volunteer, you will be given the opportunity to work on a number of rewarding projects, meet some new people and of course, gain some fantastic work experience.
