EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT/ OFFICE MANAGER

Variety is seeking a highly skilled, professional and dynamic Executive Assistant to support the CEO and the Chief Barker (Chair of the Board of Trustees). The role involves supporting both executive leaders with day to day administration as well as organising various regular board and committee meetings. In addition, 50 per cent of the role will encompass management of Variety’s head office in London.

The ideal candidate will have experience in both supporting a senior executive and a board of Trustees/ Directors (or senior committee) within the Charity Sector. They will be skilled at building relationships at all levels of the organisation and show discretion and tact when dealing with matters of a confidential nature. The candidate will be proactively driving deadlines and forward planning which is particularly crucial in supporting the Chief Barker which has an annual change of office.

Head of Marketing Communications

We are looking for a Head of Marketing Communications to lead a small team in devising multichannel communications and supporter journey marketing campaigns that helps raise awareness of our work, builds our digital communities, and helps drive income generation through targeted engagement activity. You will work closely with teams across the organisation to ensure that our marketing and communications needs are met and that we become known as a UK wide organisation which delivers innovative, engaging and effective campaigns and communications initiatives in support of our beneficiaries. As a professional with experience of communications, marketing (including digital marketing), social media, supporter engagement, and media, your remit will include working closely with fundraising colleagues to develop, deliver and evaluate a schedule of donor acquisition and retention campaigns and to identity engagement opportunities across all marketing channels.

The ideal candidate will bring not only the gravitas and innovation to proactively lead a team to deliver exceptional results but also the creativity and ambition to see this charitys brand increase across the UK. This is a pivotal role which will have you working with staff and volunteers across the Charity, to maximise our reach to both supporters and potential beneficiaries.
