Kaelan joined Variety in 2025 as Office and Facilities Manager, bringing expertise from his educational background in anthropology and law, as well as experience across a range of sectors including social housing, marketing and hospitality. In his role, he is responsible for ensuring that the working environment at Variety’s Camden office is safe, inviting and practically equipped for staff to work effectively.

When he is away from work, Kaelan can be found painting in his home studio, cycling across borders with friends or digging for vinyl in the basement of a record shop. He can also solve a Rubik’s cube in under a minute and make a great cup of coffee.
