On Tuesday 23 May 2017, Variety, the Children’s Charity, hosted the 26th annual the “PROPS” awards lunch and raised almost £300,000 towards Variety’s wheelchair programme.

The “PROPS” awards lunch is the property industry’s premiere fundraising event, which this year saw over 750 guests descending on the ballroom at The London Hilton on Park Lane. The awards were hosted by long-term the ‘’PROPS’’ supporter and former British Lion Martin Bayfield. Martin was joined by Miss World Stephanie De Valle from Puerto Rico who presented the awards to the winners – for categories including Residential Developer of the Year and Deal of the Year.

Founded by Neil Sinclair, CEO, Palace Capital plc and Ronnie Nathan, CEO, Capital & Overseas Holdings, the ‘’PROPS” was the first property industry awards event in the UK and, 26 years on, is still the most prestigious.

Since its inception the ‘’PROPS’’ has raised close to £10 million which has not only funded more than 2,000 Powered Wheelchairs but also a £250,000 donation towards the Children’s Intensive Care Unit at St. George’s Hospital in South London.

There is still time to donate – interested parties should contact the Variety events team on 0207 428 8100.
