Now in its 33rd year, the PROPS Awards Lunch has become a standout event in the UK property industry’s calendar, recognising and celebrating individuals and companies who have excelled in the sector, while raising vital funds for the children and young people Variety supports.

This year’s awards spanned 15 categories, celebrating the achievements of leading developers, investors, agents, lenders, and rising stars in the industry.

The 2025 PROPS Committee. Thank you from Variety for your amazing support and dedication.

Since its inception in 1992, the PROPS Awards has raised over £12 million for Variety, the Children’s Charity. These vital funds help provide specialist equipment, accessible transport, and life-enhancing experiences for disabled and disadvantaged children across the UK.

Variety extends its sincere thanks to this year’s Gold Sponsors, Criterion Capital and TPG Angelo Gordon, and to Ediston Real Estate, our Reception Sponsor, whose generous support played a vital role in the success of the 2025 PROPS Awards. We also acknowledge our valued Award Sponsors, Century Capital, Crowe UK, Fusion Group, Harrison Street, Kitt, Spencer House Partners, Trimont, and the Tri7 Group for their essential contribution to the event.

A special tribute goes to Bim and Pardeep Sandhu of The Santon Group for their enduring commitment to both the PROPS and Variety. Their unwavering support continues to drive real impact for children and young people across the UK.

Jacob’s Story

During the lunch we heard from Jacob, a young person that Variety supported by funding his sports wheelchair. At just one year old, Jacob was diagnosed with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, a condition affecting all four of his limbs. Jacob’s early years were filled with many challenges, but he soon found a passion for sports and wheelchair rugby, which truly captured his heart. However, excelling in the sport required a specialised chair – one that would allow him to play comfortably, without pain, and perform at his best. Thanks to Variety, Jacob received a custom-fitted rugby wheelchair, designed to support his abilities and enhance his performance.

“Now, I can play without pain and just enjoy the game. The chair has made a massive impact on my life as it allows me to be involved in and play the sport I love. Not only do I love playing the sport, but it gives me a sense of belonging, with a group of people who share the same challenges in life as me and I feel it has made me a more confident person.”

The event was filled with celebration, inspiration and generosity, highlighting the profound difference the property industry continues to make for children and young people.

Variety Lifetime Service Award

At this year’s event, the Variety Lifetime Service Award was presented by Bim Sandhu of The Santon Group. The award recognised two extraordinary individuals whose lives have been dedicated to improving the lives of thousands of children and families.

For over five decades, Neil Sinclair has been a cornerstone of Variety, a visionary who helped shape the charity into what it is today. From launching groundbreaking fundraising events to co-founding the PROPS Awards, which has raised over £12 million and funded more than 2,000 wheelchairs, his unwavering commitment has brought hope, opportunity and independence to countless young people.

Alongside him, Pamela Sinclair has spent 49 years championing children with disabilities. She broke barriers as one of the first female Barkers and later led Variety’s Wheelchair Committee, personally overseeing the funding and donation of more than 3,000 specially adapted wheelchairs. Each wheelchair has been a lifeline, offering freedom, access to sport and a brighter future. Pamela also founded The Variety Catherine Awards, creating a platform to recognise the achievements of inspiring women in the UK.
