On 20th August Patrick Stewart-Paul rode the red carpet at ODEON Uxbridge where he was presented with his brand new, Invacare TDX electric wheelchair, which was funded by the incredible staff of ODEON Cinemas.

Patrick who has Duchennes Muscular Dystrophy, is completely wheelchair-bound and can move his arms only a little. Patrick has not walked for 7 years. However, despite his everyday challenges, he loves reading, doing puzzles, hydrotherapy and physio and has won two awards for his achievements and indomitable spirit.

ODEON Cinema staff across the UK raise money in a myriad of ways – selling film posters, holding raffles, participating in challenge events and lots of fun activities and were recently awarded the prestigious Variety International Corporate Supporter Award at the Conference in Barbados in June, for raising over £350,000 for our work

A big thank you from all at Variety!
