Variety, the Children’s Charity, honoured Kirsty Howard with an Outstanding Achievement Award for her Charity work and dedication to helping children of Francis House Childrens Hospice, through her great work with the “Kirsty Club.” Children at the hospice have life-limiting conditions.

The event took place at the Hilton Hotel Manchester Deansgate and was attended by the great and good of Manchester. Stars from all over came to support Kirsty on the night including: Coronation Street Favourites Antony Cotton, Samia Ghadi, Liz Dawn MBE, Sue Johnstone OBE and many more.

Les Dennis (aka Michael Rogers ) of Coronation Street hosted the event, and the entertainment was provided by International recording Artist Russell Watson supported by the fabulous “Siren”.

Video messages at the event were sent from Prime Minister David Cameron, Sir Alex Ferguson, David Beckham and Richard Fleeshman.

The spectacular event raised funds from a Raffle and a superb Auction.
