Starring popular local children’s entertainer Krazy Kev as Jack, and Tyler Marlow as his hard-up and hard-pressed mother Dame Trott, the show is packed with humour. Sam Dunning is the sinister Fleshcreep, Ashley Rettie makes a delightful Jill and Mia Taylor an enchanting Fairy Moonbeam. David Benson Phillips is the booming voice of the never seen but very evident Giant and, of course, there was the very amusing Daisy the cow.

The panto visit was organised by the Wessex branch of Variety, the Children’s Charity and funded by Bournemouth business group the BC Club. The show, that runs until Christmas eve (Sunday 24th December), was written and directed by Kev Stevens, aka Krazy Kev, and was thoroughly enjoyed by everybody.

Frances Cornelius, chair of Variety Wessex said:

What a wonderful pantomime experience this was for all the children. Thank you Kev, all the cast and everyone at the Barrington for putting on an amazing show. Thank you too Shan Seewooruthun and all the members of the BC Club for funding this theatre visit and Laguna Coaches for making the children’s journey to and from school safe and efficient. A very happy Christmas and wonderful 2024 to you all.
