Championship football club, Charlton Athletic, recently donated a brand new Variety Sunshine Coach to the Milestone Academy, New Ash Green, Kent, which looks after children with severe language and communication difficulties.

Milestone Academy is the largest special educational organisation in Kent, helping youngsters work towards as independent a life as possible.

Charlton Athletic manager, Chris Powell, said:

“We are delighted to offer support to disadvantaged children and young people who deserve to participate in every aspect of school life and to spread their wings into the community. This Variety Sunshine Coach will enable them to do this.”

Milestone Academy head teacher, Margaret Fisher, said:

“This donation means a great deal. The coach will enable them to live an enriched life, with opportunities to join in and experience activities which were previously inaccessible.”

Thank you to Charlton Athletic FC and Tony Jimenez for supporting this Variety Sunshine Coach.
