Variety, the Children’s Charity, benefited from the amazing sum of £21,600 when premier house builders Crest Nicholson South, held their annual Awards Lunch at The Cobham Hilton in Surrey on Friday 24th February.

The event was staged to acknowledge and reward those individuals and teams within the organisation, as well as suppliers to Crest Nicholson South, who have performed outstandingly during the course of 2011.The event also featured comedian, auctioneer and Variety Barker, Russ Williams, who not only entertained the diners with his jokes, but also proved to be a wonderful auctioneer.

On behalf of Crest Nicholson South, I was delighted to be able to hand over a cheque for £21,600 which will fund a Variety Sunshine Coach and will immeasurably improve the lives of many disabled and disadvantaged children.”

Crest Nicholson South is part of the Crest Nicholson group which has raised over £370,000 for our work since 2006 and has funded 13 Variety Sunshine Coaches.
