Trusts and Foundations

Variety does not receive government funding. Alongside the public’s support and that of corporate partners, we rely very heavily on the generosity and support of Trusts and Foundations to enable us to deliver our services.

Children

A donation towards our work will enable us to make an immediate and meaningful improvement to the lives of children and young people who must struggle every day with acute illness, disability or disadvantage.

It’s often not possible to make children better, particularly those with chronic conditions or disabilities. But together we can improve the quality of their lives by providing them with the means to have more independence, freedom and fun.

By helping these children in this way, we also help their parents, siblings, carers, and teachers who shape their early years.

What your donation could provide

£500 would enable us to fund sensory equipment to help stimulate autistic children whilst they play.

£1,000 could provide equipment for youth clubs, helping disadvantaged young people to be part of their community not part of a gang.

£5,000 would give 1,613 children an unforgettable day out and the chance to discover how much fun the world can be and how many possibilities it can offer.

£10,000 can fund a specialist powered wheelchair for a disabled child, bringing much dreamed of freedom and independence.

£27,750 would enable us to provide a 17 seater Sunshine Coach with a tail-lift to a school or organisation catering for children with special needs. These coaches enable the children to travel in safety and comfort to participate in leisure and sports activities, have day trips, access the core curriculum and become more integrated into their local community.
