The Bingo Association is one of Variety’s key supporters with a four-year fundraising target of £1million.
The bingo industry has a strong track record of raising significant sums of money for charity and the partnership is supported across more than 350 bingo clubs raising funds through a national charity week as well as on-going events at the clubs.
The Bingo Association, formed in 1998, represents the industry and works with operators and owners of clubs, central government, policymakers, and regulators. The industry employs 12,500 people and is firmly rooted in the social arena.
Miles Baron, Chief Executive of The Bingo Association, commented:
“Bingo clubs throughout Great Britain are enthusiastically raising funds for our charity partner Variety, and I would like to thank the staff and bingo players for their support. As an industry we are proud to be able to help children in the communities in which we operate get the most out of their childhood and reach their unique potential.”
