This annual event honoured and celebrated those who have achieved outstanding success in their chosen fields of business, sport and industry and raised crucially important funds for Variety, the Children’s Charity, to support sick, disabled and disadvantaged children and young people in the region.

This year the event had the wonderful support of Main Sponsors The Cerberus Group,at the Legend of Industry Awards 2015 and also the support of Ultimate Finance Group Limited, Together, and Davenham Asset Finance.

2015 Recipients include: Simon Weston OBE,  Steve Morgan MBE (Redrow), Mahmud Kamani (Boo Hoo)  Jon Culshaw T.V Comedy Impressionist, Lawrence Jones (UK Fast), Ian Simpson and Rachel Haugh  (SimpsonHaugh & Partners), Julie Goodyear MBE, Fran Eccles-Bech  (Manchester Law Society),  Michael Josephson (Stocks) and Nigel Howarth Chef Patron  Michelin Star Northcote Manor.

Each recipient gave a wonderful speech for their much deserved Legends of Industry Award.

Over 400 guests attended the spectacular black tie Awards evening, and were entertained by The Jerseys, with their Tribute to Franki Valli and the Four Seasons Show, Lea Roberts, television comedian and during dinner Mikey Powell sings Michael Buble.

Past winners have included Torvill & Dean, Dragon’s Den star Duncan Bannatyne, Sir Howard Bernstein (Chief Executive of Manchester City Council), best-selling crime writer Martina Cole, award-winning celebrity chef Aldo Zilli, Eamonn Holmes (Broadcaster and Television Presenter, former World Champion snooker player Dennis Taylor, leading Manchester sommelier George Bergier, Tim Bacon (Co-Founder, Living Ventures), Charles Ledigo (Chairman, Reisser Ltd) and Kevin Horkin (The Horkin Group), Tom Bloxham (Urban Splash), John Kennedy CBE, Phil Jones (Brother UK).
