Lynda La Plante CBE was in Liverpool signing her new book “Tennison” at an evening in the Crowne Plaza Hotel generously sponsored by The House Beauty Spa. With over 200 guests in attendance, each guest received a copy of Lynda’s latest book and a House Beauty Spa Goody bag.

On the night Lynda La Plante was interviewed by Lyn Staunton, Variety Development Director Northwest, about her early career and her life as a Bestselling author followed by a Q&A session.

Malcolm Brenner former Chief Barker and Trustee, Caroline Monk – Celebrity Manager, attended the event and surprised Lynda at the end of the night by making her a Variety “Celebrity Ambassador”. Malcolm gave a wonderful speech and thanked Lynda for her amazing support and Mrs Margaret Harry for her continued commitment to Variety.
