Graham Cole OBE Inducted as Celebrity Ambassador for Variety

Variety, the Children’s Charity, is delighted to announce that Graham Cole OBE has become a Variety Celebrity Ambassador, joining the other very special showbusiness icons who have been awarded this accolade. Variety’s Celebrity Ambassadorship recognises not just a star’s outstanding contribution to the entertainment industries, but also his or her enthusiastic and committed support of the charity. Through that, our Celebrity Ambassadors make a significant contribution to Variety’s work to improve the lives of children and young people, throughout the UK, who are sick, disabled or disadvantaged.
Graham, best known for his role as PC Tony Stamp in the ITV police drama The Bill, was officially made a Celebrity Ambassador by Pamela Sinclair, Chief Barker 2016, at our Crew Dinner at the London Hilton on Park Lane on Monday 20th June to thank him for all his support of Variety over the years. Heartfelt and very special speeches were made by Marsha Rae Ratcliff and John Ratcliff CBE, both former Chief Barkers of Variety and close friends of Graham’s.

A certificate and special Variety silver pin were presented to Graham by Malcolm Brenner, Chair of Variety’s Celebrities Committee.
