Yorkshire Business Awards 2020

This lunchtime event at The Queens Hotel is the region’s definitive business awards, celebrating the many achievements and undisputed excellence of companies in Yorkshire and attracts some of the most high-profile speakers in the country, for the likes of The Rt Hon Sir John Major KG CH, Jeremy Paxman, Sir Michael Parkinson, HRH The Duchess of Kent and Sir Trevor McDonald OBE.

The Sunday Times best-selling author, Amanda Owen has two hit TV series, 1000 sheep, nine ‘free range’ children, one husband and an assortment of farmyard animals. Life for Amanda Owen, the Yorkshire Shepherdess, is anything but dull and Variety are thrilled to be presenting her with the Yorkshire Legend Award, at this year’s Yorkshire Business Awards.

Over the years, the Yorkshire Business Awards, has become a premier fixture in the business calendar, raising more than £3 million for sick, disabled and underprivileged children across the region – making a real difference to real lives. There’s a lot to be said about the company you keep, and our lunch is attended by 450 Yorkshire business people, comprising the top management of all the public companies headquartered in the region as well as most of the region's professional advisers.
